Frequently Asked Questions

You must cancel your reservation 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty charge of one night plus tax. For certain events, such as Pride, Folsom Street Fair and Outside Land's Music Festival, there is a one night, non-refundable deposit due  at the time of booking.

Check out is 11:00 am. Check in is any time after 3:30 pm.

Early Check In: If your room is ready early, we are happy to check you in as early at noon, but we cannot guarantee an early check in. If your room is not ready upon arrival, you are welcome to park in our lot and are able to store your luggage at the front desk.

Late Check Out*: We offer an Extended Check Out of 3 pm (opposed to standard check out of 11 am) for $40 on weekdays and $60 on weekends. A 12 pm late check out may also be requested free of charge.*Availability is limited and must be confirmed with Front Desk.

To UCSF: 2 miles or 10 minutes driving or 20 minutes by public transportation

To CPMC Davies: ½ mile or 10 minutes walking or 8 minutes by public transportation

We do not allow pets.

We do not, but we are easily accessed using public transportation, taxis, Ubers or shuttles.

Absolutely! When you book directly, you are helping a small business avoid unnecessary fees that these sites charge. You are also eligible for free upgrades and are granted more flexibility. We’ll all be happier if you book directly through our website or by calling.

If someone else is paying for your room, have them fill out our credit card authorization form and return it back to us with a copy of the credit card and matching ID at least 72 hours prior to arrival.

Yes, we offer free parking to our guests, on a first come, first serve basis. 1 parking permit is permitted per room. We have about 35 spaces. Rarely do we run out of spots for our guests, but if we do, there is parking on the neighborhood streets.

Yes, we will hold the package for you at the front desk. On each package, please put the name of the guest that is listed on the reservation with your check in date. No handling fees like some of the larger hotels!

Our rates do not include breakfast, however there are many wonderful options within walking distance.

All rooms have a mini refrigerator, phone, coffee/tea maker, iron/ironing board, safe, hairdryer, desk, 43” flat screen TV and private bathroom with shower or tub. Upon request, we have a limited amount of microwaves that may be placed in your room for use during your stay.

The rates that we offer are the lowest you will find. We do have a discount for those visiting our local hospitals.

Taxes are 15.33%

Our rooms are 100% non-smoking.

We have pack and play cribs available for babies. There are no extra bed options within the rooms.

We do not, but we do try our best to honor our requests to have group rooms located near to each other.

No, but there are many gyms within close walking distance.

No, but we do have a sundeck for our guests to use. It has tables and chairs that overlook historic Market St.

We have a coin operated washer and dryer on site for guest use.
